Magento_MediaGallery module

The Magento_MediaGallery module is responsible for storing and managing media gallery assets attributes.

Installation details

The Magento_MediaGallery module creates the following tables in the database:

  • media_gallery_asset
  • media_gallery_keyword
  • media_gallery_asset_keyword

Extensibility

Extension developers can interact with the Magento_MediaGallery module. For more information about the Magento extension mechanism, see Magento plug-ins.

The Magento dependency injection mechanism enables you to override the functionality of the Magento_MediaGallery module.
